I am still getting used to the Substack style. I used to start the email with a direct greeting to you, the recipient. However, here it doesn’t work that way. Oh well, Substack has a greater and more focused reach for those interested in writing, so I’m on board.
Today I want to talk to you about a writers’ retreat in the mountains and a book launch in Romania. First the retreat:

As you perhaps remember, I have been mentioning for a while now that I intend to teach a course in writing a novel, and a course in writing a nonfiction book. Well, I plan to start these courses at the end of September. This writers’ retreat in the mountains will be a preparatory camp of four days and three nights, in which you will learn techniques for writing and publishing in your language of choice. Each participant will write two short stories, and will have at least one short story included in the anthology that we will publish at the end of the retreat on Amazon and other platforms. The focus of the retreat will be on taking action and writing and publishing then and there, as well as learning techniques for making this a sustainable practice. This will help prepare you for the longer course in which you will write an entire book.
People who have already participated in my course in writing and self-publishing short stories (whether directly with me or at Fundația Calea Victoriei) will receive a substantial discount if they choose to participate in this retreat.
And now for the second news item:
My book, The Call from Within: Accomplishing Your Meaningful Project, is coming out in Romanian this year, with a foreword by Professor Dr Dumitru Constantin Dulcan.
I do not know the publication date yet, or when the launch will be, but I hope that you will be there! I will announce it when I know the date.
